REGUPOL sonusclips
For wall and ceiling sound insulation
Our REGUPOL sonusclips are designed to reduce sound transmissions from both airborne and impact noise in wood, steel or concrete construction for both interior walls and ceilings. The innovative clip systems are used to attach gypsum wall board (GWB) for walls and ceilings that allows the GWB to float and absorb energy due to the resilient rubber isolators, causing an increase in the acoustic performance for both STC (airborne) and IIC (impact) ratings.
Both the REGUPOL sonusclip SC100 and REGUPOLsonusclip DE90 have a design load rating of 16 kg per isolator and can support up to two layers of 15 mm gypsum board when spaced no more than 600 x 1200 mm on-center.

Whether it is an entertainment center with cinemas and theatres or educational buildings like libraries, sound and vibration from internal noise sources like adjacent auditoria, bars, restaurants and shopping malls as well as nearby building service equipment need to be kept at a minimum to ensure the experience and comfort that is expected.
REGUPOL used its long-term expertise to develop products for effective box-in-box designs that are needed to decouple an auditorium from its surroundings. High performance sound de-coupling systems for walls and ceilings are essential to provide excellent sound isolation.
Acoustical testing has shown that, with our REGUPOL sonusclips, drywall systems in a twin frame construction can achieve sound isolation values of Rw = 79 dB and STC = 80 dB. Even tests of single-frame wall assemblies with REGUPOL sonusclips, as slim as 170 mm overall thickness, show performance values of Rw = 66 dB and STC = 67 dB and therefore confirm the efficiency of these isolation clips.
