Acoustic challenge solved through technical innovation
A technically sophisticated solution was needed to seamlessly integrate the hotel's new fitness area into the existing premises without disrupting ongoing hotel operations. The biggest challenge was to carry out the work free of dirt and noise so as not to cause any inconvenience to the hotel guests. The decision was made in favour of the REGUPOL sonusfit m-series flooring system, which can be installed without the use of screed and can therefore be installed particularly cleanly. At the same time, it fulfils the high sound insulation requirements.
Before the work began, an on-site appointment was organised, during which extensive measurements were taken and various flooring options were discussed. Due to the special location of the junior suites below the fitness area, effective noise insulation was essential. REGUPOL sonusfit m 515 proved to be the optimum acoustic solution here, as this fitness studio system floor fulfils both the functional and acoustic requirements.
To further enhance the sporting experience, REGUPOL everroll ultimate in the Pompeii colour variant was installed as the top layer. This floor covering is characterised by its outstanding functional sports properties and high level of comfort. The result is a harmonious combination of sport and relaxation.
