The long design working life of our products is not only a key quality feature, but also a significant contribution to sustainability. This requires transparency and predictability. To meet these requirements, we analyze the long-term behavior of our materials in our own endurance test benches.
In addition, we continue to monitor selected projects even decades after installation. One example is the vertical decoupling of a building against vibrations from an underground railway tunnel, which has been regularly remeasured since the 1990s.
We also rely on independent scientific expertise: Based on extensive research, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) has produced a forecast of the design working life for our ranges REGUPOL vibration and REGUFOAM vibration, estimating a service life of up to 100 years.
