Carpathia Warsaw

Carpathia Warsaw

In 2018, the state-of-the-art Carpathia office building was completed in Warsaw's Powiśle district. Six above-ground floors offer around 4000m² of rental office space, while two underground floors add 40 car parking spaces. In addition to high-quality interiors that create a feel-good atmosphere, great attention was also paid to sustainability aspects, which is why the building made it onto the list of Warsaw's greenest office buildings. Furthermore, the efforts in this area led to a BREAAM "very good" label award.

Powiśle offers the perfect location for a building of this type. The neighbourhood has seen tremendous development. Until it was completely demolished during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, it represented a working-class neighbourhood that received little attention. Over the years, reconstruction and urban development turned the district into a culturally, gastronomically and commercially hip neighbourhood. Office space users should be particularly pleased with the culinary offerings in the area. Restaurants offer various options for lunch and bars invite you to have a drink with colleagues after work. Furthermore, the location of the quarter is very central within the city of Warsaw and is characterised by the best infrastructure. The building is close to various bus stops and centrally located between the Nauki Kopernik and Nowy Świat metro stations. In addition, the Świętokrzyski Bridge is within walking distance, which means you can reach the right bank of the Vistula within ten minutes.

Without further measures, vibrations emanating from the metro lines would have led to noticeable vibrations and unacceptably high secondary airborne noise. In order to avoid these adverse effects, it was decided to decouple the building foundations with a total of 1,670 m² of REGUPOL. In detail, REGUPOL vibration 480, REGUPOL vibration 550 and REGUPOL vibration 450 were used.
