City hotels with close proximity to metros and tram lines are often confronted with structure-borne vibrations. One example is the Novotel Saint-Denis Stade Basilique near the stadium “Stade de France” in Paris. The hotel is located in the dense suburb Saint-Denis which counts a population of 1000 people per square kilometer.

Due to the short distance to the stadium and constant public transport traffic of metros and trams, a maximum of soundproofing measures had to be considered not to disturb any guests. The combination of a premium infrastructure and unconditional comfort could be realised thanks to the use of REGUPOL vibration 450 as a vertical building base isolation.
