Active in building culture
We harness the impact and power of good examples
REGUPOL and Bundesstiftung Baukultur share a commitment to sustainable, liveable urban spaces. Our interests overlap particularly strongly when it comes to the topic of ‘intelligent redensification’ – a key aspect of sustainable urban development. Bundesstiftung Baukultur makes a valuable socio-political contribution by highlighting exemplary projects of successful building culture.
As a manufacturer of innovative solutions for sound and vibration protection as well as for elastic play and sports surfaces, we understand ‘intelligent redensification’ as the interplay of functionality, quality of life and resource conservation.
Our common goal is to create spaces in which people can live together in a more conflict-free and high-quality way.
We also use the effect and power of setting a good example!
Building Land Development
How our products make unused land usable again
Our products can be used, for example, to revitalise brownfield sites of former industrial plants. These plots of land, which are often centrally located but have been unused for a long time, can be converted into valuable building land with the help of the products from our REGUPOL vibration and REGUFOAM vibration range. An elastic decoupling of building foundations on our elastomer bearings reduces the transmission of structure-borne noise. This measure makes even sites in the immediate vicinity of railways or heavily frequented transport infrastructure useable wihtout restriction. In this way, disused industrial sites are sustainably reactivated and returned to productive use. Find out more about building land development.

Mixed-Use
HOW DIFFERENT USES CAN BE COMBINED WITHOUT CONFLICT
The use of our materials enables the conflict-free mixed use of buildings. Especially in densely populated urban areas, it is essential that available space is used appropriately. REGUPOL enables building extensions and mixed use. Our impact sound insulation and vibration isolation materials make possible what may seem impossible at first glance. From living above a supermarket to a gym above an office – with the right acoustic solutions, the possibilities for mixed use are virtually limitless. This enables sustainable urban development with the best possible use of space and also creates short distances for building users. Find out more about mixed-Use.
